Anastrozole withdrawal
After only one month on anastrozole after my lumpectomy and radiation, my dr took me off it bc I couldn’t cope with side affects. Now I’m more tired than ever with nausea, diarrhea n constant breast pain. Is it just me and if not how long will it take to get over this?

I think your doctor would know the most. The general info I have--from being a patient--is that the drug leaves your system in a matter of days but that side effects can persist for a month or more. But it is worth asking your oncologist directly. Fatigue can also come from much of cancer treatment. How long ago was the radiation? I thought my fatigue was just emotional but turns out my white count was down post radiation. Can you get clearer direction from the oncologist so you have more of a timeline? I've found it hard at times to understand what was causing specific symptoms. I hope you can get more information.
recovering from fatty liver,
Used 1200mg NAC for 3 years until another test said that the liver was not fatty! Anymore.
N- acetyl cystine = NAC
AMINO ACID
Google it , and share it with others,,
No need to suffer from withdrawal effects,
Now, I take NAC 600mg daily.
To keep my liver clean, it
Detoxes other medications from building up.
CASTOR OIL, put topically around liver area… cover with bandage. Great oil for eyebrows… and heads🥳
On Thin Hair it helps enormously add Rosemary essential oil.
Helps scars.
Good luck on your journey
Namaste🌷

I agree with @mir123 that your other treatments may also be contributing to your side effects. Are things improving as days go by? What do you find helps?
I had no withdrawal after being on anastrazole for five years none just stomache felt better and overall felt better
With the side effects I've encountered with AI's, both Anastrozole and Letrozole, with my doctor's consent I've gone to a schedule of 6 months on and one month off. Never have I experienced any type of withdrawal during that month off. Improvement comes slowly, though. I also am considering that many of my side effects blamed on the AI's may also be caused by the Prolia. I had been on Letrozole for 9 months before chemo/radiation with nothing more than hot flashes. After treatment I went on Anastrazole and Prolia approximately the same time and in time had all sorts of issues. I've considered it might be damage done by chemo and radiation or maybe the Anastrozole/Prolia combination. Maybe something I haven't yet considered. You've got three different AI drugs to chose from plus going from generic to brand name. There are studies showing that half the dose can be just as effective. I now take one Letrozole tablet every other day. Or you can take the chance to take none. I hope you find an option that works for you.
