Do you have SI Joint pain following a lumbar spinal fusion?

I am 2+ months post-op from my Lumbar 3-4-5 spinal fusion. I have recently begun to have SI Joint pain predominantly on my (R) side. Has anyone else experienced SI Joint pain following a lumbar spinal fusion and how was it treated?

I am fused L2-S1. I am not fused S1-S2. Yes, the S-I joint now is painful, Steroid injections at the S-I were helpful for the first year or two but have since stopped helping. The pain is such that it interferes with walking; I can walk for about 5 minutes before pain demands a retreat. It is less painful if I use two trekking poles. I'm now waiting for a hip replacement on the same side as where I had the S-I injections. A steroid injection prior to the hip replacement gave great relief from lower back pain and S-I joint pain for up to 10 days indicating that some of the pain may have been from the hip.

Yes, I had SI joint issues following a L5-L4 fusion. It is very common. A steroid shot in the SI joint helped.
