They should tell you what to do to prepare for the test. During the test they will have you do different things. Just follow thier instructions. I don't think the water will affect the test but just check with them first.

I agree with freedancer. Upping your water intake might have an immediate effect on your dehydration level. Because I had the same problem with dehydration, I bought a 32 oz. water bottle and use it every day. It helps me keep track of how much water I am drinking. If I drink about two of those a day, I’m pretty well on track of how much I should drink. I feel much better when I stay hydrated. It makes a lot of difference. It’s great that you are really looking at everything and asking questions. We just keep trying.
