If you have been doing Google searches, you may have read some of them.

You might try searching PubMed for published medical articles on subject.
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/
Example, here is one, but it is very old (2015):
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6170116/
Also, found this from Univ of Michigan about different types of tests and what interferes testing:
https://medicine.umich.edu/sites/default/files/downloads/MOC%20DRUG%20TESTING%20ORDERING%20AND%20REFERENCE.pdf
What type of documentation do you require?

Thank you for your reply and the helpful information. My Lawyer says he wants a support letter from the prescribing doctor or pharmacist whom I get my Metformin from. But they won't due to some privacy problem. So that's why I've come to you. I think my Lawyer basically wants someone who knows about this situation to just say that they know Metformin can give false positives. He won't accept the webpages, not even the one from Pubmed. It is frustrating.

Thank you for your help.
The Lawyer wants a support letter from a professional who can confirm that Metformin can result in false positive tests for methamphetamine. He suggested our MD or pharmacist but they won't put their signature to a support letter for "privacy reasons"??
We have shown him the internet pages from Pubmed but he wants a name to the letter.
