It's true, some people really suffer under COVID-19. Others don't ever seem to get it because they have the right genetic makeup.

I don't know that we'll ever have a preventative vaccine the way we have it for polio and smallpox. The COVID and its variants are a different ball of wax, a different type of virus, like the rhinovirus and flue...they change every few weeks, and all we have to call on is our body's natural immune response. The COVID vaccines give the immune system a script to follow, but the script still has to be read....each time. It takes a few days, and then the body catches up to the action. Meanwhile................ 🙁
