Minuteman & massage

I had the Minuteman procedure 2-3 years ago. Is there any reason I can’t get a massage now? Is anyone else in the same situation? I keep forgetting to ask my Dr, so thought I’d reach out to y’all! Thanks for any advice!

Usually after the incision is healed massage is recommended as good rehab. You might want to advise the therapist to be gentle next to the hardware. Massage would be excellent for you shoulders and hips anyway. You could message or call your md.
How happy are you with the procedure 2-3 years after. Was recovery as easy as it looks.

Thanks, think I’ll message my pain specialist. The Minuteman recovery was easy - just no bending, twisting, etc for a while. Unfortunately, it didn’t help at all with the pain!

No, he didn’t come up with a good reason or solution. My SCS didn’t help either so I had it removed this February & changed pain specialists. I’ve thought all along it’s b/c I have cerebral palsy from a birth injury. But, I’ve been told that wouldn’t matter.
