I have been diagnosed with Mecular hole in my left eye. Is this same as degeneration. I have to go foe checkup every three months. May need surgery in future. Any suggestion / advise will be appreciated.

Not the same as macular degeneration. Sorry you have this problem. 🙁 I hope there is a cure for you and it gets better.
