I am back in the gym at last and feel brilliant. I still have problems with the left shoulder but it has improved. I used to exercise for hours before PMR made itself known but now happy with 2000 metre row, 500 SkiErg, 1 mile slow jog on treadmill then 20 minutes on spin bike. I always stretch afterwards and practice getting up from the floor. Pleased to say some muscle has returned.
Thanks for sharing, VERY helpful!
They're good stretches and not hard to do but you can feel them working. And no pain afterwards. I do the head turns and shoulder rolls during the day whenever I remember and the neck is definitely feeling less stiff.
I like Aiko and April whose exercises are especially for older folk. I used to follow them before PMR and tried them again today. We will see tomorrow if they cause pain. Hopefully not as it is fairly gently movement.
