@acmuceus I'm sorry to hear about your husband's spine condition, and I hope he will have a solution in the future. Does he have osteoporosis? Bone density and quality is always a consideration when spine surgery is considered. Has your husband been seen by an expert for bone quality such as an endocrinologist?

no he has not seen an endocrinologist , but we should definitely check on his osteoporosis before surgery, we will ask the question after the Dr looks at the 2 X-rays he ordered .

yes he has osteoporosis, age is the issue and having done a lot of heavy work over many years. bone density scan is definitely in the plans going forward
