Interested in side effects of Reclast Infusion
I had a Reclast infusion one week ago and after some of the symptoms subsided, pain in my stomach continues. I have been taking Tylenol for relief and this all happens on the weekend of course and tough to get a hold of the doctor. Anyone else has this issue and what could be done besides the Tylenol?

I just got my 2nd infusion on this past Tuesday and the indigestion is horrible! It actually feels like my stomach is burning! I do always have indigestion problems, but on Wednesday night the pain actually woke me up!
I hope that this medicine is making my bones stronger!
My bone scan is scheduled for May 2025.
Hi
I just had my third infusion. Your not alone. I ended up in emergency 5 days later with severe burning in my stomach and chest. The Dr said it's the worst med for causing this. I also had severe panic attacks and depression with bad fatigue. Also caused by this med. I am not doing this one ever again. It's been a nightmare. Make sure you see your Dr so they can treat it. Make them aware. Good luck
Thank you for reaching out to me! That will be my last one for sure! They will have to find something else to help my bones stronger!!! I’m glad to know that this is what caused Tony stomach to burn like it did…… I’m feeling much better now, my infusion was on Tuesday. I have been soaking in epson salt every evening after work. This has been the longest week for me at work!!
I had my first Reclast infusion and will never have it again. I got very sick on the following day with severe cramps that felt like labor pain. It was after a holiday weekend and my messages to my doctor didn’t reach him. I suffered with horrific belly pain until it finally subsided and I was able to reach my doctor. He of course apologized profusely but this was after the fact, too little and too late.
I had a Reclast infusion for osteoporosis four months after having a second surgery for scoliosis. That evening I had swelling in my hand and halfway up my arm, bright red coloring and aching pain. I reached out to grip a stairway hand rail and my hand was completely useless and I couldn't grip the rail. I fell back against the wall hard, slid down the wall hitting the landing and fell onto the concrete floor. This started the next five years of more severe back pain and having to have another cervical and thoracic spine surgery. I still haven't resolved the pain and damage to the vertebrae and impinged nerves from the fall and dearly regret that I was not given a choice to have the Reclast infusion. Just say NO to a Reclast infusion and find something else or nothing.
Could the Reclast infusion make me feel achy and nauseated even a week afterwards? I had the 2nd infusion last Tuesday. The weekend and yesterday morning, I felt pretty good. But after lunch yesterday.....I feel horrible again!
I don not think I will do another infusion. Going to have to find something else or nothing!
Do you know if the side effects of this infusion can come and go? I was feeling back to normal yesterday all day until around 5:00 PM. I woke up at 12:30 AM sweating like I had a fever, nauseated, and severe headache like in my neck up. It will be 2 weeks this coming Tuesday that I had my infusion. I am going to the beach this coming Thursday, hoping and praying all of this will subside!
Thank you in advance!
Hi
Yes, it's been almost 4 weeks for me and the pressure in my neck comes and goes along with naseau. But I also am having wicked menopause symptoms from. Being taken off my hrt. Going to endocrinologist hopefully soon
Is the same true for Prolia? I am miserable with muscle pain an 20 other noted side effects. My endocrinologist doesn't think my side effects are related to the Prolia.

I was not sure if it was infusion because like I said yesterday, I was fine up until 5 pm. Now I am having body aches again too, along with nausea & headache. I do not think I will be doing this infusion again! I feel horrible!
