Question on DCIS outcome
Hi there , anyone who was diagnosed with DCIS where it ended up being nothing or it was actually more extensive . Just curious . I have DCIS myself .

thank you for commenting. I just think I am going flat. I really don't want to go through so many surgeries.
Hope the nausea has subsided and you’re starting to feel a bit better. Take it easy , hope you’re up and around soon.

Thank you for the well wishes! I am doing ok, was able to drive and go to work yesterday actually.
I did have a reaction on the gauze tape and caused redness on my skin and started freaking out and went to the drs to have it checked. They drew a border so I can check if the redness spreads. So far it has not.
This whole experience has been all sorts of emotions for sure. I have to keep telling myself to breathe and take it one day at a time. I hope everyone that’s going through this journey is taking it as easy as they can too. So many unknowns, but we just can’t live off of fear.

3 ReactionsThank God you are doing well, forevergrateful0925!
I have very sensitive skin and I also developed a bad reaction in my skin after the surgery last December. It was painful and very itchy around the surgery site:( If your symptoms persist, perhaps you may ask for some prescription for skin cream for relief.
Wishing you a smooth & speedy full recovery!

2 ReactionsHow did the nerve grafting go? I really don't want a mastectomy without trying that but no one I know was offered that option. I want to be aggressive in finding someone who can do it. Would love to know if you've had any progress (although I heard it takes up to 2 years) and how you found a surgeon.
