To start generic Fosamax soon and very concerned!

How did you get the low dose fosamax? Did you cut your pill in half? I am having bad back pain since starting fosamax 2 weeks ago (I also had it with Evenity but not this intense) and would like to continue so wondering if a lower dose would do the trick.

I have read that you shouldn't take Fosamax for over two years and there has to be a reason. I wouldn't take medication that's causing pain if it's truly the reason. People on this feed have talked about other ways to improve bone, like Stronium and weight lifting exercises. Maybe you could consider something else besides Fosamax?? May God bless you!
