cymbalta for pain

I’ve been taking cymbalta for over 14 years. I also have been taking Celebrex during the same period. Celebrex is an anti-inflammatory and really helps my arthritis which is present in almost every body joint. I’ve had both TKR, a right hip and will be getting spinal stenosis surgery on Tuesday. Will also have 2 fusions. I’m hoping to come off of the Cymbalta in the near future bc that is indicated mostly for lower back pain. It’s mainly an anti-depressant. See what your doc thinks about Celebrex. Every one responds differently to various drugs. What works for some may not work as well for everyone. I currently have zero side effects from Cymbalta. You may need to stay in it longer to allow your system to adapt. God Bless

I was on both of those drugs ( at different times) and didn't like them at all and they did nothing for my back muscle spasm so I quit them.
