If I understood your one post about flank pain, it rang a bell. After I had several types of chemo for cancer, my Oncologist would ask if I had any pain or flank pain? What it turned out to be was that adriamyacin and streptozocin intraveniously for 2 cycles had lowered the efficiency of my kidney operation, that's why he said it was often in the flank area of the back amidst the kidney area. Chemocare.com can note these things. It can also be that you should inquire about seeing a Nephrologist for the cause of it--maybe a reactio, possibly a cyst, maybe cancer, who knows without testing?

yes i do see a nephrologist, and i have cyst in my kidneys, also I've been treated with rutuxan-a chemo type iv drip
drug that slowes the destruction, of my kidneys,,,,,,,,,,,,
their is times that i hurt so bad i cannot even bend over,,,,,daily like 4 pm in the pm i take my 2 nd oxycontin, 12 hr delay med
and hydromophine for break thru pain,,,,, this been going on for 6 years!!!!!!

also iam searching for any body that has membranous, i would really like to see how their doing!!!!!!!!!!

god bless and carry on!!!!!!

Relative to your note, I think you are likely on the right track; although, having gone on this long--I would be in the process of validating what the previous doctor and treatment had me on. With my Islet Cell cancer several cysts were seen on the Octreotide Scan, which I looked into. I found out a couple of things (1) my cysts weren't specified as a specific type. Consequently, having Tuberous Sclerosis in my body and that it is a carrier of the Chromagranin A marker for Islet Cell Cancer---my research indicated that it would often be a clear fluid. But nothing else. Also, Tuberous Sclerosis Allianz pointed this out. On the other hand, (2) items have been written about kidney cancer. And that is one of the Targeted Chemos 'Affinitor' that came to be. I'd seek a second opinion from another Nephrologist and update all my symptoms and medicines taken.

Good Luck
