ED and shrinkage issues

Posted by cman23 @cman23, Dec 20, 2022

About a year ago, I started having a little bit of pain urinating. I went to the doctor and they ran urine tests and other tests and found nothing wrong. Over the next few weeks my testicles and penis in their flaccid state shrunk by a lot. I went to the doctor again and they said it was possible prostatitis but I was unable to get into a urologist for 5 months. Over that time, my scrotum became lifeless and stopped retracting and my erections became non-existent. When I got to the urologist, my prostate was normal size and the tests all came back normal. My testosterone was low normal and he started me on testosterone. He also has tried Viagra and Cialis, but I am still getting almost no activity on its own. I have jump started to make sure it still works and I can get an erection that way, but my scrotum is still lifeless during that period and does not retract up. My flaccid state is still much smaller than it used to be. Does anyone have any idea of what it could be?

You shrink as you age you have no choice in the matter .. if you have ED for any length of time you lose even more ... I used a VED for 6 weeks before my implant surgery to regain some of my lost size .. and she is only mentioning the implants that pump up not the mallabble ones like I have that are hard all the time and no moving parts to fail ..

Can you alternate using Viagra and Trimix? Can you use Trimix 24 hours after using Viagra?

@hammick19 - I'd ask your urologist about that. But if you're using trimix already - why would you need Viagra? I was prescribed a low-dose Cialis to help manage BPH symptoms - but the trimix by itself was 100% effective in producing a satisfying erection.

Did I understand your question correctly?

I'm blaming Tamsulosin side effect for myself. I never would have started it if I had a viable option not to. Now there's Optilume for BPH. I'm scheduled for tomorrow.

They recommend using Trimix no more than twice a week. I desire to have sex more than twice a week and want to use viagra during the other days.

I've been using injectibles (tri-mix the past few years) for nine years with no issues. I was told just to avoid two days in a row. I researched "why" the limitation and am pretty certain the concern is too many injections producing scaring around the injection sites. That's another reason to rotate sides each time. Don't want to have the penile equivalent of "injection tracks" like an addict might have.

i have ED brought on by being a diabetic. which i know causes nerve damage to the penis and testicles. i'm not worried about it anymore. as far as i know, nothing can be done about it. if there is, fine. but i'm no longer interested. to me now sex is just a bonus. but i don't need it nor want it. i'm more interested in the emotional, cuddling, kissing. and having a loving partner for the rest of our lives. but that's just ME. danny 💙💙💙💙.
