Colleen.....I am a 13 year Mayo Clinic patient. I have had cancer 3 times. Twice treated at Mayo. Once elsewhere.
All clear now.

My Primary Care physician at Mayo in Scottsdale says she can't prescribe the Galleri test. They say call Executive Health. EH says I can't be accepted anymore....even though I have had 2 EH physicals in the past 5 years! Because I'm retired now!

I'm due to see Dr. Pollack in Rochester for fu this summer.... but they say they can prescribe.....because they are Nuerology.

Who can I talk to to get the Galleri test?

Jeff

@jeff0117, that sounds frustrating. If you haven't already, you might submit a request through the appointment office at Mayo Clinic in Rochester here http://mayocl.in/1mtmR63

Hi Jeff, according to the galleri.com website, there are two ways to request the Galleri test for cancer. The Galleri test is available by prescription only and must be ordered by a healthcare provider. You can request the test through your healthcare provider or online through an independent telemedicine provider

I noticed there are links on their website to request the test online. If your PCP isn’t able to order this test for you, perhaps you may be able to do this yourself. Have you looked at the Galleri site to try ordering?
