@mbryant1380 I'd posted this but neglected to include your I.D....I was wondering if the NYU program did anything for you...hope you still check in!!
Hello, I feel your pain…I had Covid in December of 2022 and lost my taste and smell. I’ve had 4 Stellate Ganglion Block injections for my loss of taste/smell. It’s helped slightly, where I can now smell my coffee grounds every morning and have a stronger sense of salty, sweet, sour/bitter on my tongue. What the SGB did do for me was help my anxiety. I don’t feel as shaky as I once did and that has helped me a lot. I’m not on any anxiety drugs or anything like that, so this was not expected, but I’m happy about it. Now if I could just get the taste and smell back, that would be so wonderful! I too was off balance and felt like I was on a boat, but that seems to have subsided as well.
@shashig Appears you are quoting me. Those were and still are to a degree my symptoms along with PEM and Exercise Intolerance. I consider them managed, but not cured. My hopes are one day they go away, but nobody seems to know for sure.
