Yes, along with shock therapy. It helps slow the progression of neuropathy .

I have been taking gabapentin for my neuropathy ever since my first back surgery 13 years ago.
I am 79 years old and live on social security. I have seen advertisements on the internet for near infrared/red light pads, but they are costly. My neuropathy has been slowly moving up my legs and the gabapentin has not slowed it. I am looking for help. What is shock therapy? Thanks to anyone for any helpful advice. Bob
