Thank you for the link. I've always felt the UK, Australia, and New Zealand have done more research than we have here in the US.

The research is multinational --- countries have different priorities perhaps but many countries do research and have access to research done worldwide. . There are funding considerations that all countries are subject to.
From what I have read, the research that comes out of Japan is ahead of everyone. For example:

PMR isn't just a northern European problem or a Minnesota problem.
The USA seems to be leading the way in finding alternatives to Prednisone for the treatment of PMR but my opinion might be biased. This is especially true for the use of biologics for the treatment of PMR.
Interesting. I've always read that PMR's prevalent group (patients) are peopl of Northern European heritage.
