I don't know..What I do know is Vit B increases red blood cell but it does a lot of other positive things for your body so I won't do anything without first speaking to my hematologist..We have discussed it but never in depth.and never told not to take it....I do know that platelets are not actually cells..This is a good question for your hematologist..Do you feel comfortable speaking with him/her? There's nothing you shouldn't feel comfortable talking about with your Hematologist that's how you know it's a good fit.
