Has anyone w meningioma pressured to explore Alternative medicine?
Has anyone here with a meningioma been presssure to explore alternative medicine treatments? I am uncomfortable with exploring Chinese and holistic medicine treatments. However, has anyone explored alternative treatments and if so, what have you found?

Not sure I understand the foundation of your question, and therefore seek more clarity!
Are you asking about alterative treatments to relieve symptoms that meningioma tumors bring or do you mean alternative treatments that would rid/cure meningioma tumors?
i do not think that what my friend hopes exists does exist. He believes there is a natural way to get rid of meningiomas. i do not share his belief system

elisabeth007, my reply was intended for the posted query for glioblastoma, not your post on alternative healthcare practices aimed at meningioma brain tumors. I am a 10yr meningioma survivor/thriver and co-founded a national/international non-profit for meningioma survivors/thrivers and care partners.
Relative to alternative healthcare practices during meningioma care, my logic is more simplistic, how can one become rid of meningiomas when there is no known cause or identified contributors to them developing? Brain treatment protocols have many variables (e.g. tumor location, size, Grade of tumor, symptoms being experienced etc), therefore, all meningiomas are not equal and should require individually designed care plans.
Lastly, your friend has 'free will' to seek other treatment options that he/she believes can provide relief for the body , mind, and spirit, while living with this brain disease.

the one with the meningioma and it seems to be very tiny and caught very early. When it was discovered in 2018 it was about the size of a pea (cm). Now 6 years later, it’s about 2 cm (supposedly the size of a peanut).
i just had a consultation with another neurosurgeon and he reassured me that i am going to be fine. He suggested focused radiation but said it could wait until after my next scheduled MRI, Nov 6.
