CBD oil for pain

Posted by timfitz @timfitz, Jul 19, 2016

After trying opiates, and lyrica, and mostly just suffering I tried sublingual CBD which is from the marijuana plant, but has no THC in it, you don't get high. It was very very effective. Not only did it reduce my pain at least 75%, it has a calming effect on the anxiety produced in those of us with chronic pain by the fact we have it. I do recommend it.... Be sure it is from a reliable source. You don't need to smoke anything or get high.

@lioness
Hey Lioness, how are you? I’m in need of help from my Connect cyber friends. My brother supports us financially and the $ is gone. We’re facing eviction. He works only part time. Because of my health problems, I can’t go into a women’s center. There are no relatives and apparently no friends to help. I need help with prayers and good thoughts. That’s all I know to do at this time. Thank you...Karen

Hi @karen00, when you post to a discussion, like you just did to @lioness, it goes to everyone who is following the group and the discussion. Adding a person's @username, simple alerts that member that you mentioned them in particular. Does that make sense?

@colleenyoung Hi Colleen, I was wondering how to write a general posting to all in group, to no one in particular. Thanks

@colleenyoung I was referring to doing exactly what you just did. You didn’t address this posting to anyone specifically-it just went to whole group....K

Those shots never gave me more than five or six days of relief when I was getting them. If a TENS unit works for you then the spinal stimulator will probably work for you. That's how they test you to see if you're a good candidate for the stimulator. Right now they're probably just giving it to anybody who asks about it because they don't want to give them any kind of opioids for pain relief. I failed on the TENS unit test so they didn't give me a spine stimulator. Instead they gave me the pump which is inserted in my belly and has a catheter running up my spine leaking tiny amounts of Dilaudid directly to the nerve endings. And it works. Not this morning however. I spent two hours last night planting two apple trees my wife was given and it's the hardest I've worked in 4 years since I had cancer and every inch of my body hurts this morning. I should mention I am partially disabled and use a cane or a walker so 2 hours on my feet with a shovel in my hands was a bit extreme. But what baby wants, baby gets.ok

@wsh66 I'm sorry to hear you are hurting more after being busy planting. When you described every inch of your body was hurting - you said exactly what I've been thinking about the downside of the pump. I have stenosis and DDD of the c spine I also have fibromyalgia. So some days I hurt like the dickens at my neck. Other days, much like today with a change in the weather, fibro kicks in and flares so pain is in every part of me.Stephen, I hope you continue to get the maximum relief you can. How are the apple trees coming along? What type of apple will they bear?
