Has anyone used the Marodyne device to stimulate bone growth?
You stand on it twice a day for 10 minutes. It gently vibrates and also helps with improving balance. The Marodyne is made in Germany and costs about $3,000. It has not been FDA approved but there are studies in progress.

Didn't the results of the Vibmor study by Belinda Beck show that the machine didn't improve bone density? I seem to recall reading there might have been a flaw in the study and Margaret Martin is still promoting it (for 2-3x a day to increase bone density). I might have some of these details wrong. I have one (irrational hope over evidence) and am hoping that it could be used in future for something else, balance, muscle repair after injury?
I am sorry about the disappointing results of all your efforts. Please keep me posted as I am just getting started and trying to figure things out. Hang in there! Thank you for responding to my post.
I recently came across the website for the VT007. You mention your next DEXA would have been January 24. Maybe not enough time to show a definitive change, but I would be very interested to know how it is going with your VT007. I’ve seriously considered Marodyne but there seems to be conflicting views. I don’t know what to think about Power Plate which is also very expensive. I was impressed by the VT007 owner’s hands on approach. It seems the machines are made in Minnesota (could that be right?) and have a good warranty. The lowest frequency is 30 hz. But the other number, amps?, the lowest one is a bit higher than the Marodyne but lower than Power Plate. The frequency and amps are adjustable as well so perhaps other members with stronger bones can use it too. The price is right and less of a loss if it doesn’t reap any benefits. If you are still active or anyone else here using the VT007 I would be very interested to know about your experience. Thank you🙏
Melia: I hope you will continue using it. Margaret Martin recommends twice a day separated by 6 or so hours. Maybe there will be improvement in your next DEXA? I hope so. Thank you again for sharing.
There are many reasons why scores might go down. Are you just past menopause? What do your bone markers say? Everything you did was supportive - try not to be discouraged but rather empowered to get to the bottom of this.
If you havent had comprehensive lab work up - I suggest you get a Doctor who will look into underlying causes.
That said I recommend you read the book Great Bones 2023 by Dr Keith McCormick Chiroprator. It is a comprehensive analysis of contributing factors to metaolbic bone diseae. This will guide you. It is detailed - just stick with it. May your helaing path guide you to strong healthly bones.
I just got one and started to use. 10 min 2X a day at 24 HZ. I am trying to work up to 30 HZ. Yes, customer service is exceptional. I am 68 and have oesteopenia and on AI meds. Hoping it helps with bone density - but it seems there are other benefits too.
Thank you for sharing! I am trying to figure out if it comes close to the lower amplitude of the Marodyne as I think I might need that setting to begin. I think the amp is the force with which you are pushed up and down. The HZ is how many times the vertical force goes up and down. How does it feel to you? Does it really shake you up and down or is it a more gentle up and down, at least for now while you’re starting out. I am ready and just need a little more courage to buy one. I wish the bone experts on Youtube would review it. They seem stuck on power plate and Marodyne.

I am really appreciate your words of support! It helps so much!
About menopause. I had an early one, and I think that it influenced much the loss of bone. My doctor said that it puts me in higher risk of fracture. I am going to take risedronate now, as I it appears that a year of efforts without medicines did not have results.
About bone markers. The fact is that in Europe, and in Spain where I live, doctors do not prescribe bone markers tests in general. I learnt about this test in this forum, and recently I asked a specialist whom I visited to do the test. He replied that on his opinion the test is not informative, however he agreed to prescribe it. So I shall do it the next week.
I have learnt a lot at this forum, also about the existence of Marodyne Liv. I hope that results of my efforts will help other people to take decisions.

Sure, I shall share all results!
Please do get the book Great Bones /author McCormick - and read it thoroughly. It will help you understand the importance of Bone markers and how they are a useful guide. Some docs dont understand how much they inform porgress/ therapy effectiveness and general condition of bone coupling ( building bone vs dismantling bone).
Healing energy to you !
