Chronic pain and medical marijuana
A nurse friend tried me on marijuana oil smoked in an electronic pen since nothing works with my pain under everything pain management has tried. I did not respond - can one be immune to it as I am with all procedures on my back and all pain relievers

Thank you for telling me how it is done in a state where it is legal and the costs incurred. We'll see if it passes in FL. @ladyjane85
Three weeks into my Medical Cannabis trial. Man, does it work!!!! I get about 80% relief from my pain, I can live with this, and it lasts for the full 24 hrs.
If anybody needs more information regarding Medical Cannabis in MINNESOTA, I will be happy to help you out.
I live in MN, and have TRIGEMINAL NERVE PAIN.. what clinic prescribes this? My meds don't work. I really don't want to feel dragged though.
I don't think you gave it a proper trial. 3 puffs will not give you noticeable pain relief.
Is the Canadian CBD the same strength as down here? It's hard to compare without knowing this.
I use 1-2 ml BID orally. I also use, for break-thru pain, an atomizer of a different formula as the former. 1-2 sprays sub-lingual prn. I have rarely had to use the atomizer due to the pain relief I get from the oral.
I've heard of the cbd part that's helps with pain
I have found my back pain reacts much like a river that floods and finds an easy course to flow. In other words stimulation be it chemical stimulus seems to set e up for a pain cycle. I have avoided self medication of all types and been very cautious with prescribed medications for over ten years now with pretty good success. My gray hair is testament to having lived thru the 60's and 70's and although it is tempting, I think I will continue my straight and narrow regiment of exercise and diet. It is working for me, not the most fun at time but neither is flopping around on the ground trying to find relief.
The prescribing clinic I used was: Advanced Pain and Spine Clinics of Mn.
7373 France Ave S
Edina, Mn. 55435

They also have a clinic on 2801 Wayzeta blvd in Mpls
As to what combination of THC or CBD one should use, they BOTH relieve pain. the Pharmacist that dispenses decides what he thinks will help and it is reviewed monthly when I pick up the meds, The dispensary In my area is Leafline Labs in St Cloud, Mn.
Anything further, contact me by email directly or thru this one.
I take a 50/50 solution of THC and CBD, 2cc orally twice per day and for breakthrough pain I take THC SL. It REALLY helps with my pain.
I am new here. I do not believe Mayo Clinic and Cleveland Clinic should eliminate opioids entirely. It's wrong, so wrong to suffer. I now live in FL. In NY there is medical marijuana with a great deal of monitoring and restriction. HOWEVER, HAVING TRIED IT FOR MY FINE FIBER NEUROPATHY, NOT CAUSED BY DIABETES, IT WORKED VERY WELL AND I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO ATTEMPT TO GET IT IN FLORIDA. I HAVE FOUND FLORIDA VERY MUCH LACKING IN PROGRESSIVE MEDICAL AND PAIN MANAGEMENT TECHNIQUES, EVEN AT CLEVELAND CLINIC. THE PHYSICIANS HERE REFER ME TO HEALTHCARE IN MA AND NY FOR TREATMENT.
It's dangerous to ones health to live here. All of my permanent medical problems began from the mistakes of FL physicians... That is probably why they are not required to have malpractice insurance.
