Chronic pain and medical marijuana

A nurse friend tried me on marijuana oil smoked in an electronic pen since nothing works with my pain under everything pain management has tried. I did not respond - can one be immune to it as I am with all procedures on my back and all pain relievers

I just tried the oil (smoked) THC from marijuana 3 diff x's, and more than<br>a male would use - no reaction at all.<br>Am being told of sublingual CBD for pain - do not know price. Then told of<br>testing for diff meds since either I react badly of they do not help at<br>all. This is called pharmacogenetic testing or PBx or monecular profiling -<br>will have to talk to my pain management dr. ladyjane85<br><br>

Wrong. Please research before posting. THC is certainly legal in Minnesota, as is CBD, and a mixture of both. If you are interested I will provide the list of clinics providing the exam and the company supplying it.

Reply: THC is certainly legal in Minnesota, as is CBD, and a mixture of both.

I simply asked my non-Mayo primary physcian if he thought I could benefit from Medical Cannabis. He agreed and researched Minnesota's laws and found out just what I needed to do including the prescribing MD and the name of the lab/distributor. I am surprised Mayo does not at least find out the information you needed.

In Minnesota it costs $250 for a MD exam from one who is licensed to evaluate patients for the state. He then will send prescription to a state approved lab. After meeting with their pharmacist he then determines what blend of Cannabis is right for you. In my case, it cost $270 for a one months supply. You have to determine if you can afford it or not and just what pain relief is worth to you. This information is for Minnesota only. You must be a resident of the state and may not transport the drug across state lines, especially to a state where it is illegal.

In Minnesota it costs $250 for a MD exam from one who is licensed to evaluate patients for the state. He then will send prescription to a state approved lab. After meeting with their pharmacist he then determines what blend of Cannabis is right for you. In my case, it cost $270 for a one months supply. Thank you! This info is greatly appreciated. My neurologist wants to try nerve pain drugs and injections first. But I will keep your info!
