I agree with Chickytina, I would definitely do it again, I had a single left lung transplant. I didn’t know how bad I was feeling, and looking, until after the transplant! Mayo has amazing people and resources for you to use, take advantage of them.

I'm wondering how close you had to be to Mayo (if that's where you went) before your surgery? I'd like not to have to be away for a long time before and after the surgery. I know there isn't a lot of time between when they get a lung and need to transplant it.
