It is not, no added sugar, and no discernible flavor to me.
I frequently consult consumerlab for their supplement test results and brand recommendations, and at one time it was an approved brand. When I run out I'll check with them again. They test many non FDA approved products (such as vitamins) for heavy metals and for listed ingredients. There's an annual fee but for me it's been worth it. Good luck to you, making our way through the darkness of osteoporosis is daunting and frustrating and often very difficult, I have found, esp. right after diagnosis it kind of became my full time job.
