Trelegy Ellipta
Does anyone have used this inhaler? My pulmonary doctor prescribed me one, after reading all the side effects I don’t feel like using it.

Trelegy is a combo of a LABA, a LAMA and a steroid. Many people here take either a LABA and a steroid or a LAMA and a steroid. I don't think the side effects would be worse than either of these two alone. Maybe one steroid is safer than another though. I took Trelegy briefly and nothing bad happened to me. You probably do need some sort of long acting beta agonist (sp?) or the LAMA to keep your lungs open as much as possible all day. There are quite a number of two medication inhalers that include lamas or labas without the three combo but I don't know which one has the least side effects .
I use Anoro because it doesn’t contain a steroid
I used to take Trelegy (b4 being diagnosis MAC) for Bronchiectasis. I had no side effects and found effective. However, since MAC, I was concerned about using a steroid due to some studies linking the use to additional risk of MAC. I asked doc to change and he put me on Stilito RESPIMAT. Currently been using for over a year with no effects. ALSO, the drug company has a program that allows me to fill the script for FREE. Don’t know how long that will last- but grateful!
Hope this helps! Dee
I've used Trilogy for a year now, with the only effect being that my voice has become hoarse since I started it.
I tried using Trelegy, but after 5 days I was so hoarse that all I could do was whisper. Doctor told me to discontinue use.
Thank you, I’m not comfortable using it,because when I had advair I had bad brochospasms.
Thank you, great info because I have MAC too
