Pudendal Nerve Entrapment/Neuropathy/Damage
Hello from a new member. Am wondering if anyone suffers from the monster Pudendal Nerve Entrapment/Neuropathy/Damage? I do. And I'm very alone in it. It is a very uncommon condition, and because of its personal nature, one that many people may not be comfortable opening up about. There seems to be a more vocal/visible presence of patients in the US, AUS and France. I hope, I need, I want - for it be made more aware of here in Canada. If there is any one who suffers from it, or who thinks they might, please feel free to open up about it. Please join me in advocating for ourselves in this horrible condition.

Thank you for your insights. I’m in a similar place, trying to find the right Dr. I’m near LA but don’t know where to start. Do you mind sharing the name of your dr. Thank you, wendy hahn
2 weeks on it. Never a surgeon; just pelvic therapy. I will call you tonight, ok?
Look into arachnoiditis as the problem. It’s very hard to diagnose and I have yet to find a doctor in Louisiana who has even heard of it. I was diagnosed at Duke.

I have been suffering with possible pudendal neuralgia - pudendal nerve entrapment along with sciatic nerve entrapment for over 1 year. It started with an injury to my low back in Jan 2023, I have DDD and arthritis in my SI joints. My symptoms have worsened even though I have been to the pain clinic for multiple nerve block injections and on Pregabalin & Baclofen. The pain worsens during the day, sometimes incredibly painful, having already had my prescribed dose of meds. Sometimes I have bladder spasms too. I am wondering if seeing a neurologist and having a CT or U/S guided nerve block is best. Any input is greatly appreciated. With sincere gratitude.
I appreciate your "long: post. It is detailed and informative. Most people are not as informed and have not idea the amount of pain Pudendal Neuralgia causes. I would like to reduce meds, but not sure if I can tolerate the pain. Great point about the episiotomy- a lot of my pain is on the left side and that is where the tear and episiotomy is for me. I appreciate your post! With gratitude.Terry

I'm not sure if you were asking @hayes or @bkruppa for the name of their doctor since you were replying to @hayes who was replying to @bkruppa. Hopefully they can share the name of their doctor for you.

Have you seen a spine specialist?
Hi, I appreciate any input greatly. I should indicate it is not just my low back, but now possibly pudendal nerve entrapment along with SI joint nerve entrapment. This condition is extremely painful!!
