Help needed not being taken seriously
For the past 4 years, my GI system has been getting worse. I have Celiac and Microscopic Colitis, both confirmed by biopsy. Even though all the blood test show I have not been having gluten. My last colonoscopy showed a round lession (looks like a rug burn). Taking the prep I felt like I poured alcohol on an open wound. I would like to visit Mayo, unfortunately, many MD's don't believe how bad it is. When you are afraid to eat or drink water because you will have explosive diarrhea. Below is the lession no one can identify.

Your case and my case are perfect examples of how similar and complex and dissimilar we all are. My GI(ex) told me that "there is no protocol for testing for celiac compliance ", I didn't think that was right then and now you proved it was wrong. We need to be able to trust our doctors, but I don't.
Unfortunately, I agree. When you find a good one you have to hold on.
Hi,
From experience I can say that if one’s traumas from the past are not addressed for sure one will be sick always.
I’ve done research on this, and there’s a lot information all over the world about how psychological trauma affects health. We can’t get our adult person healthy until we get our child person healthy.
Understood, but you first would need to have actual/perceived childhood trauma, to have any psychological impact to heal. I have enough physical health issues to deal with, I am extremely grateful that I didn't have any traumas in my childhood. Those that have had abuse and trauma, have suffered in ways I can't even begin to imagine. My heart goes out to all those affected by childhood trauma.
Hello Shellyw,
Are you stating you now eat gluten even though you have been diagnosed with celiac disease?
95% of the time I am 100% gluten free... but if I eat gluten I will not have any of the normal bad symptoms that usually occur for celiac disease. Yet I am definitely a celiac patient, with severe intestinal damage and my blood tests and I have the DNA alleles for celiac.
That looks awful .
Try to get into Mayo or any teaching hospital 🏥. Cleveland Clinic in Ohio , Johns Hopkins , MD . Many good hospitals in NYC .
Where do you live ?
I have soooooo many chronic digestive disorders daily . Ruined my life 11 years now .
I can barely eat anything. I’m so sick 🤢. I even went to Mayo in Jax 2021 for 3 big tests . Ive had over 20 tests and 7 diagnoses. 6 th Gastro Dr . No one can fix me . Nothing has helped . I feel for you .
Def get a 2 nd & 3 rd opinion.
🙏
So sorry to hear that, it’s sad seeing how many of us are silently suffering or being labeled a hypochondriac.
Well we have diagnosed issues but the fact no one and nothing helps us is the most frustrating part .
It gets to our metal health . How can it not ?
You are SO RIGHT!!!
