Welcome @asalat76, There are quite a few discussions on neuropathy and the feet. Here's one you might find helpful to scan through and learn what others have shared.

Have you been diagnosed with neuropathy? Can you share a little more about your symptoms and any treatments you have tried?
It's fairly easy to navigate Connect once you get the hang of it. To get you started check out the Help Center here - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/help-center/#how-to-use-mayo-clinic-connect. There is also a link to the Help Center at the top of every page.
John Bishop, did you make a comment that your foot to neuropathy was caused by your back?
I do have lower back issues along with degenerative disc disease but my neuropathy is idiopathic and probable hereditary since others in my family tree also have it. I posted my neuropathy journey in another discussion here - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/comment/310341/.
@asalat76
I also have small fiber neuropathy that started in my feet and has traveled upward. In addition to this, I have many other spine/autoimmune conditions. My spine issues include cervical/lumbar severe stenosis, degenerative disc disease, etc. I am currently 54 and burning, pins and needles, prickling pain in feet started in 2017.
Hi @asalat76, My healthcare provider (PA) is a nutritionist and recently she suggested I take 600mg R-Alpha Lipoic Acid (stabilized) daily. She suggested I take this for peripheral neuropathy. She also prescribed 5% lidocaine transdermal patches. We hope this will help with the pain in my lumbar sacral spine along with the lipoic acid. My nerve damage came from the radiation and chemo treatment I had for cancer 10 years ago. And because of that, I experience referred pain from my back to my feet (my right foot). I call myself "a work in progress" because I am improving some but not enough to shout out in blissful glee from a higher place. I hope you find relief soon. Best, CB
Ok, I’m here… yes on my right foot is little feeling. If any. My reason started 2 years ago when I feel down in my garage and hit my rear-ends; thankfully was not the top of my head/TBI - even I started 12 years ago an accident of my TBI.
That falling on my rear-ends started that day - pain, terrible pain. Soon after my right foot was little, if any, feeling. I exercise my body from my rear-ends to the bottom of both feet. Things feel a little better and thankfully 2 mths ago, my Doctor A. Got rid of my pain on my back between top of my right rear-end to the back on the bottom of my back.
Pains gone - that was 50% when he fixed that. The other 50% is the rest, including the bottom of my right foot. ❤️
