Good for you, if I could afford it I would probably do it.

Yeah, it’s more expensive now. I’m now scheduled to have a lipoma removed. It’s due to pain though. A general surgeon is doing it. I’m sure there’ll be quite a scar, but….I don’t think my insurance will pay for a plastic surgeon to do it.

Good evening. I totally agree with you. I am 82 years old now. When I was 72, my life partner and I went to San Miguel de Allende to visit my business partner and friend. She introduced us to one of her neighbors who was a special surgeon for faces, necks, etc. We met with him and agreed to come back the following year for face "lifts," chin "reductions," and some other fixes for our eyes.

The surgeon had his own operating theater, and he actually picked us up at our friend's house the morning of our surgeries. We were both thrilled to see the results in about four days.

This surgeon is one of the medical doctors who has formed a support group for children with facial reconstruction needs. They dedicated Wednesdays to helping younger folks who needed some face-lifting but didn't have the resources. They also helped older folks who had arrived even 50 years ago but with disfigured faces.

It's been a while now, and I am still very pleased with my new "chin and face". My life partner found out that he could see once again after his eyes were altered.

Good luck to you.
Chris
