Welcome @purpleradiance, There are a couple of other older discussions on Kikuchi-Fujimoto disease that you might want to read through to learn what others have shared.

You might also find these two studies from 2006 and 2011 helpful.

– Management of Kikuchi-Fujimoto Disease Using Glucocorticoid:

You may have already seen this information on the rare diseases site but I thought I would share it just in case.

Dear John,
Thank you so much for sending this material. I will share it with my daughter's doctor. In addition to Kikuchi-Fujimoto, my daughter also has chronic asthma. I am frustrated that the medical model in the USA doesn't involve doctors from different specialties meeting as a team with the patients and their loved ones. My daughter is a college student whose school is far from our home. She has taken a medical leave and needs more stamina and willpower to continue her studies, even if she were to study locally. Furthermore, the local hospital and student health clinic at her university don't know how to help her. Can anyone tell me if people with Kikuchi-Fujimoto can work or attend college?
