Chemo is not fun and as you say "living day by day" is the way it is until you complete it. You just keep going day by day as best you can manage. Be patient with yourself - this is normal.

Unfortunately, when you're done with chemo, it's not done with you... it can take 18 months for the side effects to subside (sorry), but the good news is that once the infusions are completed, you do get gradually better a bit every day.

Hang in there. You can do this and you've got people on your side!

I have no one except a husband that thinks Mother nature will cure this cancer. Wish I could get him into somebody to explain what is going on with my body & mine. And now the local chemo treatment center wants me to be at their site from 8 a m to 4 pm. for 2 drugs administration They are looking for money as when I was to have a port placed hospital near said that will take 6 hours Mayo said 2 hours & in reality it took 45 minutes This local hospital is like punching in as soon as you enter the door they start a clock & charge you for ever minute you are in their facility Told them not that length is not possible they are not flexible and bully stated if you want you treatment this is how it is going to be done. Their attitude was this is how we are going to play this game. I should show up at their facility fresh from being out in the barn with dirt feces and aroma smell for 8 hours I am sure they would love that So I guess I am done with any further treatments Now I just need to rip this itchy port out No that is how I am now being dumped on
