My husband has been diagnosed with all four of these and I just want to understand more about what is to be expected. And what I can do to help.

Merry Volunteer Mentor @merpreb Hi just wanted to post an update. I'm doing okay. I'm still in school to get my diploma I graduate in May. Just wanted to give you some good news since you were there for me. Thank you.

@tmmmrlts- It is so very good to hear from you. Good for you going back to school. You will never regret this. I think that you know it will also help your healing from the loss of your husband and give you a chance to stay focused. Don't be afraid of letting go and not feeling guilty of anything that that you do not need to be. Where will you be spending the holidays?

Had a great holiday spent Thanksgiving with my son and daughter. Had a wonderful Christmas we all went to my son's on Christmas eve except one daughter and four grandchildren. then they all came to my house on Christmas day

@tmmmrlts- It's so good to hear from you and your good news! I don't remember you saying anything about school. What are you studying? What diploma will you get? I've missed you.

@tmmmrlts- Excellent. Good for you. You've gone from Care taker to HS graduate and will go beyond! What an example you are. Perhaps you would post this on the Caretaker's group to help encourage to move beyond their pain?

They think it is the antibiotics. Since his first lung dr left his regular dr has took him back down to the 20mg of his acid reflux Meds. So it could be a little of both.
Yes I have researched it.
But I'm not the smartest person when it comes to reading stuff. He is constantly telling me that with all his pain from his back and neck and his leg going numb then his lungs. That he doesn't know if it is worth it. He said he wishes it would go one way or the other. He doesn't care which way. Like this morning he told me he was hoping he didn't wake up.

So sorry health issues are difficult to deal with. Always keep watching for better means to treat and cope with them. Get a pet if you don't already have one. It will help get you up every morning no matter life's circumstances; gives life purpose and joy as you strive to improve health concerns.

For quitting smoking, ask your doc about Zyban - worked for me after smoking (and trying to quit) for 33 years. Cigarettes just lose their appeal, have no taste or pleasurable feeling if youre taking daily Zyban pill
