Have you been told no to hrt if you are 10+ years post menopause?
Starting hrt 10 years post menopause and the flawed Women's health initiative study.
I have been told no and yet the current findings seem to indicate that hrt can still help.

My endocrinologist did not like the idea at all !
I joined Dr Doug Lucas’ program. It is really expensive but I now know what I need to do and I will transition to an NP who can prescribe hormones. All of this is out of pocket. I have never found a traditional doctor who will help at all.
Thank you for sharing that with me. I feel so much better on the pellets. Did you notice a change in mood and well-being? Get out
Sorry it caught voice text at end
Hello, do you take the hormones for bone health or because you are deficient in your hormones? I’m 72 and very deficient but go off my bone building osteo med in July and don’t want to take another osteo med. My cardiologist who does all my bloods suggests to keep the gains I’ve had with my med and to help with sleep, hair, energy and moods. Would love your feedback. Thanks, Rose
I started taking them as part of my bone health journey. I have never taken the bone meds but my Endo keeps pushing me to take them. I am trying to find a different way.
I'm 24 yrs post and been on Estradiol since Hysterectomy in 2000. I'm 71 and never had issues with this patch. I did try going cold turkey without it a few years ago, and the Hot Flashes were absolutely unbearable!!! I was afraid of being on the patch for so long, but decided to go back on them. My gyno sees no issue with me continuing. I'm on 0.1 mg twice weekly.
Yes , definitely better. No afternoon tiredness, and overall generalized wellbeing is better.
Yes it does.
Do you mean your cardiologist is suggesting HRT or OP medication to keep the gains? I am new to all this and am currently gathering information about starting HRT at 67. I have my first specialist consult next month so am trying to arm myself with knowledge to prepare.
