I had a colon resection. The doc told me the problem was probably tiny tears where the reattached the rectum with sutures — sort of like tiny papercuts 🙂

In my LARS group, some people recommend lidocaine for the anal fissures or the feeling of passing shards. Some use Calmoseptine. Some combine both, first the lidocaine, then once absorbed, the calmoseptine. Some use Recticare or Ihle's paste. One person mentions mixing CBD oil into CeraVe cream.

For the internal anastomosis, some use CBD oil or edibles.
