I read your original posting and i have same condition on the top of my left foot. I’ve had severe sciatica for years although i get only occasional flare ups now. But my left leg is riddled with varicose veins and has always been weaker than my right leg. When i bend my toes, the right side is stronger, the left is weaker and the toes do not bend as far. Massaging the bluish area helps a little with returning the color to pink but only temporarily. It’s not painful but i worry that the blood flow is not what it should be and that I’m on the road to something awful like gangrene! If i knew it was not dangerous I could live with it. Have you found out more since your original post?
