You sound like me! I do not have the tremors (yet) but have had EBV since a bad case of mono as a teen. I also have SFN confirmed via skin punch biopsy. The Pfizer COVID vaccines caused pain at base of skull and dizziness both vaccine #1 and #2. After the 2nd shot, I started to get chest pain and difficulty breathing. I have cardiolipid autoantibodies for Antiphospholipid Syndrome, confirmed Hashimoto’s thyroiditis/hypothyroid, recently diagnosed via HIDA scan with biliary dyskinesia (gallbladder ejecting 7% bile when minimum should be 35-40%), etc. etc. I had a Holter monitor due to heart palpitations and have confirmed moderate sleep apnea. My symptoms have gotten worse since having the COVID vaccines in 2021 and virus in 2022 (I am 54 now). My mom had lupus/RA/Hashimoto’s and heart disease/diabetes, etc. Like you, I would like to have updated EMGs/nerve conduction testing and spinal tap to check for CIDP. I am extremely weak in my arms, hips and legs and fatigued. I also deal with cervical and lumbar spinal stenosis/degenerative disc disease pain. My biggest concerns are my heart/lungs and blood/oxygen flow and how to reduce inflammation/calm my immune system from attacking itself and my peripheral/sensory/autonomic nervous system. Good luck getting answers. I am now not able to work due to my declining physical and mental health and I have a 14 year old son I need to support as a single parent with no family/support system.

We do sound alike. Cervical Fusion from seizures. Oh neuropathy can cause seizures out of no where. Lumbar -laminectomy-problems- spinal bifida that was not caught until the last year. Hashmitos/ hypothyroidism. I ended up with that after the neuropathy years later so that can’t be the cause. I have never had diabetes but the metoprolol succinate elevates your glucose and my A1C started going up. The electrophsiologist had to take me off of it. I have a lot of swelling in my legs and wear compression hose. I took the upper hand with the cardiologist he said my holter monitor was normal but no one has over 2500 arrhythmias. I took my information to my son’s electrophysiologist. May have chest pain, dizziness (can’t tell if it’s the neuropathy or the heart).
I wish I would have never taken the Covid shot. They knew that was a side effect yet they pushed it. I believe we oughta be able to sue for that but no they had us sign a document that we could not go after the companies that manufactured the darn drug.
I hope you don’t get the tremors they stink. I have the peripheral neuropathy I just forget to add it in. I figure the other is enough.
The neurologist is checking to see if it has progressed to CIDP.
That’s the only reason they are running mine again.
On the scale 10 is the highest for neuropathy and mine is 9.5. I was told it would never have to be reran because of the fact it was severe and could only go up .5. Then they come up with another type.
I applied for social security disability and was denied. Now I have to appeal and go to court.

I also applied for disability and seating the decision. With all of what you are dealing with, why were you denied? I, too, wish I never had the COVID vaccine but my company threatened everyone with termination if you didn’t. They have laid off thousands so I am not working there anymore.

What type of work do you do? I worked in an office job where I sat at a computer for 10+ hours a day. My lumbar spine and cervical spine pain, arm/hand weakness and numbness, etc. make it hard to sit for long periods and my major depression makes it hard to function, think and concentrate.

The Social Security Administration accused me of faking my tremors in my hands and legs. I have been trying for two years.

It seems odd they would only focus on tremors when you have so many other problems. What did they say about all of your other spinal and autoimmune illnesses/symptoms? Do you suffer from depression at all?

I was supervisor at American Airlines and it was a desk job.. They say I should still be able to work. The problem I have is balance, falling and my hands along with my legs shake so bad I can’t control a mouse or type.
American Airlines gave me a choice to retire or quit that I was in no shape to work. They can extend you at a drop of a needle for 12 hours. I can’t drive. The social security administration and their doctors accused me of faking it. I have been in public when my hands are shaking so bad my husband has to hold the cup for me to take a drink. Then I sometimes have problems choking. I can’t cut up my food. I fell and fractured T7 in my back. I fell Jan 2 and 4. For some reason when I fall I go straight backwards. I was going down steps.

How are we supposed to type or use a mouse with numb hands and tremors? Plus if you take a drink of water and choke for 10 minutes coughing?

If you were denied, I now worry about being denied. I have dizziness and balance issues plus have fallen and broke my foot. I have difficulty concentrating/thinking and have extreme fatigue/weakness. How did you find your attorney to help you with an appeal? I was denied a separate surgery and paid out of pocket so also want to legally pursue an appeal (would be my 3rd). The health insurance says the surgery wasn’t “medically necessary.” They just want to deny claims and hope you go away.
