Hi @muhammadali1951, Im tagging a few members like @ava11 @jim20403 @samidh @mtnman @maraniba, who have mentioned taking silodosin and may be able to share more.

See this article:
- Silodosin, Oral Capsule https://www.healthline.com/health/drugs/silodosin-oral-capsule

According to the article and other sources like Mayo Clinic, there are a couple of important warnings with silodosin:
1. "Fainting and dizziness warning: This drug may cause low blood pressure when you stand up after sitting or lying down, which may lead to dizziness and fainting. Don’t drive, use machinery, or perform dangerous tasks until you know how it affects you.

2. Cataract surgery warning: This drug may affect your pupils during cataract surgery. A complication known as intraoperative floppy iris syndrome (IFIS) has occurred in some people who were taking or recently took this type of drug."

This medication can interact with other medications. You might wish to discuss possible interactions with your pharmacist.

I found the stuffy nose side effect of Silodosin to be far too bothersome in the long term. After consulting with my urologist, she switched me to Alfuzosin.
So far, I have not had any issues with it, and have not noted any undesirable side effects.

I have been on Siladosin for over two years now, but I have not experienced any of the side effects you warn about. Thank you for sparing time to reply to my question.
