@newyorknill, I used to get injections by retina specialist for a different condition and once there was an insurance change and I was given a different medication. Later that afternoon, when the change was discovered at the clinic, I received a phone call about it, and was asked about any unusual symptoms. I think that I was more frightened than bothered by any side effects, They told me to call if I did have any. The doctor made sure that my medication was not changed again.

I am surprised and disappointed that your doctor did not explain any possible side effects to you.
My answer to your question is, YES, you should call your doctor. Will you let me know what you find out?

Absolutely!

You can, but they suggest you do Tylenol and rest afterwards. I have been doing eyes for 6 years , once every 3 months now. My eyes have adjusted to the injections and they wash them out really well afterwards and I have no side effects. You should always be careful not to wash your hair or get any dust in your eyes for 24 hours. This procedure is considered an out patient surgery and you must be mindful of germs afterwards. You will adjust. I now have 20/20 vision in each eye. So grateful!
