Jennifer, I’m very grateful you responded to my post. I submitted an online request last Sunday night and mailed the necessary medical records (on CDs) today. I will follow your suggestion and call Neurosurgery in Scottsdale/Phoenix to get a sense of how booked up they are. I hope you are well and not in pain.

@lmandriese Thanks, Lisa. I'm doing great! I don't have pain and my range of motion is about the same as it was before surgery. My surgery was a C5/C6 fusion done without hardware and only a donor bone disc implant. I just stayed in a neck brace for 3 months while it fused. After that, I needed to rehab strength in neck muscles. That was 8 years ago, and I was impressed with how well Mayo took care of me, so that's why I'm here. My surgeon told me that maintaining core strength would help me avoid more spine procedures in my future.

I know it can be stressful waiting for an answer. How did you select Dr. Lyons to review your case? Have you had other opinions elsewhere? Do you know what type of procedure you may need?
