@dianechristine

I have never heard of a clinic for Forteo. My insurance wants $1,000 a month from me. That's insane! I took Forteo for 1 Year back in 2003 and the doctor didn't know it was for 2 years so now they want to give me the 2nd year but at that price, I can't. Can you tell me how to get in touch with the clinic? Thank you.

Hi dianechristine, The medication costs are unbelievable. Have you looked into prescription copay programs, or prescription assistance? The manufactures of Forteo and it's generic version each offer programs, and some of the members of this group have used Lilly Cares to pay for Forteo.

Hi,
Any information that is relative to get to assistance and where to look for it would
be helpful, either for Forteo or Tymlos...it seems that the programs were available
in 2021ish.

My error if my post sounded like there is a Forteo clinic. I get much of my healthcare at Optum of Washington. It was their support staff that encouraged me to apply for financial assistance. They kept calling until I filled it out (I didn't believe I qualified as I thought my income was too high). I filled out a form the clinic sent me. They processed that information with LillyCares Foundation and I was approved for 100% coverage.
