I think I have mentioned this elsewhere. I began taking low-dose naltrexone for PMR about 15 months ago. It did not seem to have a significant effect on PMR, but in about 10 days I noticed that my neuropathy (intermittent tingling in my ankles that kept me up at night) was GONE. It hasn't come back.

I experienced new onset right bundle branch cardiac conduction block after PMR. As my autoimmunity evolved
into psoriatic arthritis I developed vagal autonomic symptoms affecting heart rate variability.
Neuropathy is found with autoimmune diseases.
The "standard" low dose is 4.5mg. That's what I take. Others start very low (1 mg or so) and titrate up. You should read about LDN before speaking with your doctor, who may be unfamiliar with it.
I have PMR and GCA and had terrible discomfort in only my right foot. I am off prednisone now, and hope I will never have to take it again!! The only sensation I have now is one of thickness below the second toe.
I have been left with severe anxiety and on meds for that, this was caused by the prednisone. Best of luck !!!
I also have Neuropathy in my feet .I elevate them above my heart on a triangle foam.Also rub them with Aloe Vera gel.

P. S. My PMR started after my covid shots am on 4mgs.

What pharmacy do you get your naltrexone through. I’m in Reno NV and normally use CVS but I talked to the pharmacist and they don’t carry it in 4.5 dosage. I called the local hospital pharmacy and they don’t carry it and don’t know where I can get it.

I have been off prednisone now for 2 months and just recently developed neuropathy which I have read can be caused by an autoimmune disease.

I get mine from CareFirst in New Jersey. They have good service and the lowest prices. You need a prescription.
