Hello everyone,

I had a dental implant placed early April. Three days later I developed a sore throat which lasted 3 days and on the 4th day it was gone but I developed this clicking in my upper throat in the middle of the night. I went to urgent care and he didn’t seem very concerned. I asked my implant specialist he said to wait a few more weeks before going in for a CT, I also saw my primary who said the same thing about seeing an ENT. There is no improvement in the clicking and it feels like there is mucus in my throat. I am not sure this was caused by the implant but this wasn’t present before the procedure. I am on my 3rd week of this going on and I’m starting to get worried. I don’t have pain when swallowing and I’m ok to eat but I am so anxious ridden. I hope this goes away on its own.
