I am thinking of you while you wait. Every time I scan, I tell myself to take a big breath and blow it out forcefully. Sometimes I need to do this more than once then I can tell myself to refocus on something else.
I think the horses are so good for this, as playing with very large animals (17 hand warlander) force us to be in the moment. Stall cleaning therapy is pretty good for circular thoughts too. I like to do it in the quiet with no music or anything and allow myself to just rest my mind a bit while my horse munches on my tiny bun of gray hair.😂
