My machine continues to pump air when I take it off to go to the bathroom. It thinks that Im not breathing! I decided to shut it off and restart it when put it on again. I have it on autostart and autostop. I just check for usage and apneas. It's not a perfect algorithm, but does an adequate job for controlling my apnea. Good luck.
