I've had fibro for 29 years and have never heard of Lidocaine infusions for it. I've heard of them for the spine.

Let me know if you do this and how well you fare. Praying for you. I understand the pain of fibro and arthritis in the spine. God Bless You!

I too FM for 40 years. My granddaughter, a hygienist told me about it. I will speak to my rheumatologist. thank you

I asked my rheumatologist about lidocaine and she said no. Both my rheumatologist and doctor said no to gabapentin. I have constant pain, to me a flare just means more pain but it is always there.

I have been getting lidocaine infusions for over 5 years. I am able to get one every 4 weeks and I take advantage of that. The result is subtle but I find I am able to do much more beginning the day after the infusion. The effect usually lasts about 2 weeks.
