That has been my experience with Eliquis ( 5mg x2/day) as well. I have taken it for close to 2 years for paroxysmal A-Fib. I don't even have any excess bruising, and don't notice that any cuts, or "boo-boos" I get take any longer to heal. That said, a small cut, or spot where venipuncture was taken tends to ooze blood somewhat longer than it would without the Eliquis, but a little pressure on the area for a couple minutes has taken care of that for me.
