@lamerx what do you know of sudden onset of throbbing in two teeth that never existed until j had a bridge put in. I seriously feel like a puzzle missing pieces. Doctors that not only drop the ball but needles on floor and still use on me. This has been crazy to say the least

I am not a dentist nor an oral surgeon nor a medical doctor, so I'm afraid I can't explain your symptoms. Your statement about doctors dropping needles and then using them on you has me deeply concerned. I hope you reported this situation. I learned a long time of go, if I know something is wrong, I don't sit there and take it; I refuse the procedure and ask to see another practitioner. Good luck.

Hi. I did report. Doctors hospital here in Augusta have reached to me several times they have talked with the nurse. I wish she had been reprimanded and late today they called to see if they could reimburse me for out if picket expenses. Plys the radiologist contacted me. I'm hopeful they learned something and that I didn't contract something that hadn't revealed itself. The doctor that performed the procedure has not contacted me. Thanks for your reply.

I'm sorry for your pain. I encountered TN 21 years ago before & after a root canal procedure. Then, I was using 800mgs. of Ibuprophen, every 4 hrs. . . . .which only took the edge off. Eventually, it seemed to disappear on its own. Now, having had another root canal, last March, seems to have ended the remission. I now am using 600mgs. of ibuprophen, every 6 hrs. & 10mgs. of Rx Flexeril every 8 hours. This dosen't eradicate the pain, but, hopefully, diminishes its severity. At times I feel hopeless; perhaps this Group can offer remedies, as well as support. NSAIDS can cause internal bleeding, so we can't take large doses.

Hi, I am in Florida with a similar situation. I am so sorry to hear that you are going thru that. I cry daily over this pain and agony that I go thru. You feel like you are on an island by yourself just trying to keep your head above water. I run a staffing company and it is so hard for me each day to get thru it. I will be 46 in May and I have been dealing with this for 4 years. I have seen Oral surgeons, dentists, neurologists, and doctors. I have had 2 good teeth taken out due to the pain. I have spent thousands of dollars to see dentists and oral surgeons for them to tell me that they are not sure what is going on. I thought that I was going to go crazy... I was told by one that he thinks that it could be Trigeminal Neuralgia. So, I started researching. I finally found a Neurologist that would help me. After 3 years of searching and not knowing. He has had me on 3 different types of medicine. This is because they stop working after a period of time. So, now I am getting a MRI with contrast so I am hoping that we can find the root cause.
One night I woke up and I had a piece of chipped tooth in my mouth. This was before the Trigeminal Neuralgia started. I had just gotten home from the hospital recovering from my 2 spinal surgeries. So, ever since then I have had this problem. I believe that this started from the collision in my mouth. It aggravated the nerves. But, I am having a hard time having any one believe this! It has been such a battle. I want to take out all of my teeth to see if this would help. I am an Electro-hyper sensitive. So, I am afraid to get implants, I want to just get dentures to see if this will help. But, they will not give them to me because my teeth are good. I am in a battle that I feel like I can't win... I am sorry that you are going thru what you are dealing with. I can really relate with the frustration of it all. I pray that we all find solutions and that this can be taken away and give us our lives back!
